  • Sidney Serenaders, a senior's group, which meets every Tues am, and does sing-outs to rest homes etc. is in need of a Choir Director. We are a small group,of 20 or so. This is an unpaid volunteer position.

  • Sidney Museum and Archives is a local museum devoted to the history of the early lives of Sidney and North Saanich pioneers, portrayed through photographs and artifacts. Feature exhibits are presented monthly. The museum also includes an extensive Archival Department, where people can discover the history of Saanich Peninsula through local photographs, documents, newspaper articles and official records.
    Volunteer opportunities:
  • The Museum offers volunteer opportunities in the museum or the archives. We have volunteer positions welcoming visitors to the museum, assisting with school tours, cataloguing artifacts, or assisting in the archives with cataloguing photos and archival research. No previous experience necessary.
